sMOkeyTOWN: The Songs of Smokey Robinson was conceived, produced, and written by Andrea Prestinario. The tribute show features songs from Smokey’s historic songwriting canon, as well as anecdotal stories about Smokey Robinson, Andrea, and how they intersect. It originally premiered at Mayne Stage Theatre in Chicago in August 2014, featuring The Lincoln Squares. With musical direction by Ian Weinberger, it played The Laurie Beechman Theatre and Feinstein's / 54 Below. And under the direction of Emma Weiss, played Beverly Arts Center (Chicago) and Metropolis Arts in Arlington Heights, IL in 2019.
