After playing ALL the instruments in Andrea’s show, sMOkeyTOWN, at Feinstein’s / 54 Below, Pearl Rhein (The Great Comet) invited Andrea to sing her all-original-music solo show as a guest artist. Books & Instruments as part of Feinstein’s / 54 Below Late Night Series featuring cast members from the Broadway musical Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812. Lots of clever lyrics and genius compositions ensued!
What a night! sMOkeyTOWN: The Songs of Smokey Robinson, made its Feinstein’s / 54 Below debut on Smokey’s 77th Birthday. It was so epic, we ran out of goodie bags! Andrea assembled a team of 11 people to celebrate Smokey’s historic songwriting canon and his undeniable stamp on the American Songbook. Check out pics and video clips from this magical concert.
Andrea will be bringing her show sMOkeyTOWN: The Songs of Smokey Robinson to 54 Below this coming February 19th, 2017! As this 54 Below debut falls on Smokey’s actual birthday, expect one hell of a party! Lots of special guests announced soon so check back!
